“Named after the second English case to issue one, a Mareva injunction is a freezing order designed to prevent a defendant from dissipating or hiding his assets at the outset of a case thus making any judgment subsequently rendered against him either worthless or difficult to enforce. Mareva injunctions are available under both English and Canadian law, among other common law jurisdictions.” Abitbol v. Benarroch, 273 So.3d 147, 149 n.2 (Fl. App. 2019).
